I'm in a league that allows three keepers, in the round that they were drafted in, that can be kept 3 times. FA adds default to the 10th round. H2H weekly lineup with categories of AVG, OPS, 2B, 3B, HR, SB, BB, R, RBI
I'm already planning on keeping Carlos Gonzalez in the 11th round (2nd year to keep) and Mat Latos in the 21st (2nd year to keep.)
My other 3 choices are Brett Lawrie in the 10th (1st yr), Hunter Pence in the 10th (2nd year), or Kevin Youkilis in the 9th (2nd year). Most preseason rankings say I should keep Lawrie and that's where I'm leaning. I'm playing to win it this year, and am not too overly worried by the fact that Pence and Youk have used up a year of keeper eligibility.
I guess my main question is, do you all think Lawire outproduce both Pence and Youk this year in this 9-cat league? The potential sophomore slump worries me, whereas I'd know exactly what I'm getting from Pence and Youkilis.

Lawrie
I’d definitely keep him. There’s a lot of concern around Youk and how he’ll rebound, and even though early reports are encouraging there is no telling how his mobility and hip rotation will be until he gets into live game action.
I love Pence this season, I think he’s prime for a breakout and the most likely outfielder to surprass career norms but I’d rather gamble on his availability come draft time as opposed to Lawrie who offers great value at a very thin position.

Lawrie or Pence
Because you have CarGo, there’s not much of a need for Pence.
If Youkilis is 100% all year, he will likely outproduce Lawrie in 2012. The benefit to Lawrie is that you’re getting a young, long-term guy who might do just fine in 2012, and if Youk is NOT healthy, then you’re likely to get the better deal in the short term as well.

Lawrie
I think he has a chance to be a top 3 third baseman this season.

Lawrie without question

Lwrie wins that last roster spot easily.
Projects for solid production in almost all your categories. That’s something neither Youk or Pence can offer. Plus, he’s at 3B. I expect that Lawrie will actually have similar year to pence, but with more walks and a better position.
